A small, furry lepus; the esquilax is the perfect killer.  Found on the planet Hister, they appear quite harmless at first glance, and will remain that way until its prey gets close enough to strike, at which point the cute and fuzzy little critter springs forth and begins to gourd itself on whatever has the misfortune of getting too close.  The gangsters that control the planet use the esquilax as a rudimentary security apparatus.  First they capture one by tranquilizing it from a LONG distance, then place it in a cage to be released when needed.  The esquilax is a creature of habit and once it has made a home in a borough, cave, or in the case of capture its cage, the animal will return to that home after each kill.
